A Letter in the Mail

It’s been a long time since I got excited about physical mail. Sometimes you get a good magazine but for the most part, we all know there’s not much good news coming via snail mail.

Until last Friday.

There are a ton of hurdles to clear as a nonprofit organization. Documents to be submitted, bylaws to be written, votes to be taken, websites to be built, social media accounts to be reserved, the list unfurls from there like a dusty scroll in an Indiana Jones movie.

We’re not at the end of the list by any means but one massive step was taken last Friday, coming in an unassuming envelope - our letter of determination from the IRS.

Vision Corsa has officially been recognized as a tax-exempt nonprofit under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.

This is a huge deal for executing our fundraising and growth strategy and means our donation portal will be opening very soon. (Join our email list to be the first to find out when it does!)

There’s no doubt that this is a culmination of a lot of work being put in to prepare for this but it’s only the beginning.

More to come.

Onward. Together. Always.
