Vision Corsa Values: Transparency
Transparency is a very common buzzword at all kinds of organizations and Vision Corsa is continuing that trend.
However, there’s a deeper rationale in striving for the transparency that we’re talking about in our values. On our Values page, you can find the following explanation:
“Openness via the sharing of successes and challenges for scrutiny and, ultimately, improvement.”
You can definitely trust us to let you know about our successes. No worries there.
But we also want to establish a foundation of sharing our challenges and even our failures.
We’re going to fail at some things. That’s a promise.
But failures should generate conversation about fixes and that’s the exact reason why they need to be shared too.
In motorsport, there’s something called telemetry, which is data displayed primarily in line graph form that shows a variety of different inputs from the driver as they complete a lap around a circuit. Data on gear shifts, throttle level, brake pressure, steering angle, and more.
Teams and drivers have a readout that shows what the driver asked the car to do, when they asked it to do it, and what the result was.
It’s the reason the driver can find an extra tenth here or there.
So that’s what we have in mind when we talk about transparency. We’ll share our fastest laps but we’d like to share some of our slow ones too. Maybe you can help us pick up some speed sometime.
Onward. Together. Always.
